Sioe Sir Benfro (Pembrokeshire Show): Digwyddiadau '10

Two hour-long programmes will bring the best of Pembrokeshire Show's events to the screen within a few hours. The programmes will show a variety of events, providing something for everyone, from the stock and equestrian competitions, the young farmers' events and all sorts of other rural activities.

We will also follow this year's Lady Ambassador, Katie Davies of Little Haven, as she prepares for the show. She has been busy in the run-up to the Show and we'll see how she gets on with her duties during the event itself. Ladies' Day is held on Wednesday at the Pembrokeshire Show and the selection of hats seen during the day are definitely worth a look.

The coverage will be presented by Mari Grug, Morgan Jones and guest presenter John Meredith.

Mari Grug, who was brought up in Mynachlog-ddu, is looking forward very much to returning to her home county and being among the local people in an event which is very familiar to her.

"Broadcasting from the Show last year was a great deal of fun," says Mari Grug, who is a familiar face to S4C viewers.

"Agricultural events manage to bring together the most colourful characters," adds Mari. "I enjoy working in my local area, since I feel so much at home there. It's also much easier to convince people to come speak to me on camera!"

During the programmes, we will also get a chance to speak to the 2010 Fferm Ffactor champion, Teifi Jenkins from Newcastle Emlyn, who will be choosing his favourite machinery.
