Losing a child for whatever reason is probably one of the most traumatic experiences possible,and many people need a lot of help and support to get through their grief.

The organisations below are there to offer specialised help anyone in this situation.

    Support for anyone affected by the death of a baby. They have eight support groups across Wales, a helpline and useful information on the website.

    The Child Death Helpline is there for people who've lost a child, no matter when, and need to speak. Go to their website for more details or use the freephone number.

  • The Compassionate Friends

    The Compassionate Friends offer a helpline and website with forums aimed at parents who have lost a child. There is also a further website set up to offer support to bereaved siblings.

    A charity which supports babies awhich are born too soon or too ill. They have family support services, with help and adviceaslo available through the helpline and the website.

  • Child Bereavement Trust

    One of the main charities which support those who've lost a child or to support children if they've lost a loved one.

  • Childhood Bereavement Network

    Help and advice about how to cope with loss.

  • Cruse Bereavement Cymru

    Cruse Bereavement Cymru is a service offering counselling, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved. It has ten groups in Wales and bereavement counselling, telephone and children's counselling are provided by carefully selected, trained volunteers.
