Pancreatic cancer

The pancreas is a gland which lies just behind the stomach and produces several enzymes and hormones in the body, not least to help digest food. Pancreatic cancer is more prevalent in those who are over 60 years old, but it is not a very common cancer. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to detect and treat.
