If everyone was angry at the start of the week, it has ended in one big drama! Terry was going round and round Rhyl trying to find Hari while some of Cilbedlam’s residents such as Kelvin and Griff where giving up. Much to everyone’s relief, Hari was finally found, and the reunion between her and Terry and Glenda was emotional to say the least. Griff and Kim’s relationship is on the rocks since Kim saw quite an unpleasant side to him. There was quite a sombre undertone in Mathew’s stag party, his colourful past with the ladies finally catching up with him. The big question is, will his colourful past stay in the past or will it rear it’s ugly head again and put the wedding under threat? Sian would have a justifiable excuse to be angry should that happen!

A newcomer has just crashed into Cilbedlam; Cherry Louis Cooper. A vibrant twenty year old who sees life through fluffy pink spectacles! She talks non-stop, sometimes before engaging her brain in gear! She sees the best in everyone, is eager to please, friendly and loyal to her friends. Her glass half full attitude thinks the best of people all the time. An ambitious hairdresser, her aim is to open her own salon one day.

What sort of reception will Cherry receive in Cilbedlam? Surely it will be only a matter of time before that talkative persona will chat her way into trouble! What about a love interest – is there anyone suitable in Cilbdelam? – time will tell!

The actress playing the role of Cherry is Lynwen Haf Roberts. Since graduating in Performing Arts (Trinity College, Carmarthen) in 2010 Lynwen has played various roles on stage and screen. Welcome to Cilbedlam Lynwen!

We are about to start filming another block of the series after having a break for a few weeks. When I say break, the actors have been putting their feet up while everyone else has been running round like headless chickens sorting things out for the next block – we even managed to have a new roof on the set because navigating our way round buckets full of water wasn’t fun anymore! The scriptwriters are plotting new episodes at an epic pace and they assure me that some exiting stuff will be happening between now and Christmas – watch this space!

As is natural in a series such as Rownd a Rownd, characters come and go. Liam is long gone by now while poor old Meical is unsure if his future is in the village or elsewhere. A new character is about to land in Cilbedlam – Cherry. She is a young girl with attitude! Time will tell how this new entry will go down in the village!

While you’ll be digging out your summer kit – shades and all, spare a thought for our actors who will be piling on the layers and winter kit to film the winter scenes – Merry Christmas! x
