Rhyl will face FK Partizan from Belgrade in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
The draw was made at Uefa headqaurters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday morning with the Lillywhites hosting the Serbian club at Belle Vue on 14/15 July before visiting Stadion Partizana a week later.
Partizan successfully defended their Jelen Superliga title, finishing 19 points clear of their nearest rivals, FK Vojvodina.
And with a squad full of Serbian, Slovenian and Montenegran internationals, Partizan, managed by former Chelsea player, Slaviša Jokanović will be a stern test for Alan Bickerstaff’s men.
Partizan beat Inter Baku in last season’s second qualifying round before losing 3-4 over two legs against Fenerbahçe of Turkey in the third round.
During the 2003/04 season they managed to reach the group stages of the competition holding Marseille, Real Madrid and Porto at home but finishing bottom of their group.
