With the decision to appoint Gary Speed’s successor edging ever closer, Wales assistant manager, Osian Roberts, was a guest on Sgorio on Saturday afternoon.
Roberts, who is also the Football Association of Wales’ Technical Director, told Sgorio he was keen to stay in his role with the national side.
But he admitted discussions would need to take place with any new manager to see if the new appointment would want to take on the current backroom team.
Chris Coleman is the clear favourite to be appointed and the former Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry has told the press that he will be holding talks with the FAW this week.
