
The New Saints start the defence of their Welsh Premier League title by welcoming Airbus UK to Park Hall on Friday 17 August.
There will be two other matches in the north on the Friday as newly promoted GAP Connah’s Quay visit their former manager, Nev Powell, and his Bangor City side and Bala host Newtown.
Sgorio’s first live game of the season will be at the Genquip Stadium on Saturday 18 August as Rhys Griffiths prepares to welcome some old friends from Llanelli as he lines up for his new club, Port Talbot.
The league’s top scorer returned to his former club after six seasons with Andy Legg’s Reds as part of the the Steelmen’s attempts to put last season’s bottom six disappointment behind them.
There will be an interesting encounter on the opening Saturday at Richmond Park too as Tomi Morgan returns to one of his old stomping grounds with Aberystwyth.
Lido Afan and their new manager, Paul Reid, have the longest trip on the opening weekend as they travel to the seaside at Prestatyn.

After visiting Port Talbot on the opening weekend, we will be visiting the Airfield for Carmarthen Town’s visit to Airbus UK before heading to Nantporth for Bangor City v Aberystwyth Town on 1 September.
